Overview
Perisphere는 Geeksloft의 혁신적인 컨셉에서 출발하여, NU:BRID가 디자인을 주도하고 제품 기획과 개발 전반에 긴밀히 협력한 XR 디바이스입니다. 2021년부터 이어진 개발을 기반으로, CES 2026 버전은 실제 사용 환경에 맞춰 구조와 형태를 전면 재설계한 결과물입니다. 2025년 초의 초기 컨셉가 시각적인 아이디어에 가까웠다면, 이번 버전은 실제 착용이 가능한 수준으로 도약한 결과이며, 이전 버전의 한계를 보완하고 수년에 걸쳐 축적된 노하우가 반영되었습니다. 제품 구조는 스탠바이, 헤드폰, XR의 세 가지 착용 모드에 최적화되었고, 인체공학적 설계와 양산 가능성을 염두에 두고 정밀하게 다듬어졌습니다.
Perisphere is an XR device that began as an innovative concept by Geeksloft, with NU:BRID leading the design and closely collaborating on product planning and development. Based on continued efforts since 2021, the CES 2026 version presents a complete redesign of the structure and form tailored for real-world use. While the early 2025 concept remained largely visual, this version makes a clear leap into wearability — overcoming prior limitations and incorporating years of accumulated insight. The product’s architecture has been precisely refined to support three core wear modes — standby, headphone, and XR — with ergonomic design and manufacturing feasibility in mind.
Design & Development
NU:BRID는 Perisphere의 초기 컨셉 단계부터 Geeksloft와 긴밀히 협력해왔으며, 디자인 철학을 함께 구체화하는 데 그치지 않고, 소프트웨어를 제외한 주요 제품 개발 전반에 실질적으로 기여해왔습니다. 이 디바이스는 일상 속에 자연스럽게 스며들며 시각과 청각의 통합 경험을 제공하는 것을 목표로 설계되었습니다. 이번 버전은 구조, 사용성, 형태의 균형을 중점적으로 고려했으며, 실제 구현을 위한 실용성과 디테일을 함께 담아냈습니다.
NU:BRID has worked closely with Geeksloft from the early concept phase, not only shaping the design philosophy behind Perisphere, but also participating in the co-development of key aspects of the product — with the exception of software. The goal was to create a device that naturally fits into everyday life while enabling seamless visual and auditory integration. This version emphasizes a practical balance between structure, usability, and form, while meeting the requirements of real-world implementation.
